I'd like to recommend a book -- Why Women Should Rule the World, by Dee Dee Myers, former White House Press Secretary to Bill Clinton. The book was published this year by HarperCollins, and is a terrific read. I especially liked the section, "Throwing Like a Girl." Just a bit o' bragging here...Many of you know that last year I "discovered" in my files an unproduced half-hour radio play that my parents had written in 1944, along with glowing letters from the Script Editors of ABC, CBS, and NBC Radio in New York saying that the play had to find its proper "showcase." I had my first Vendor Table, at the San Francisco eWomen event this past Tuesday. What a great experience! I had a ball! One of the people I met was Katie Gutierrez, who has a virtual assistant resource database. She says she sometimes gets requests from clients for copyeditors and copywriters -- my specialties. So now, I'm in her database.
